Cylindrical bolted storage tanks are despatched from the factory as demounted panels which are curved for designed diameter and assembled at site.Due to the cylindrical structure there is a homogenous load distribution at avery point of the tank on the same height, therefore it is quite durable and can be manufactured up to 5000m3 capacity. There is a wide range of dimension and volume according to the avaliable area and project requirements with diameter from 5 to 25m and height from 1.5 to 12m. Although they are not as economical as the prismatic tanks, their lifetime is much longer. For the large capacity requirements, cylindrical tanks are the best option and the optimum solution.
Cylindrical tanks can be designed in accordance with AWWA D-103 (standard for factory coated bolted steel tanks for water) with material and coating options, galvanized, epoxy , liquid membrane or polyurea coated and stainless steel as well.
